Compared to the last report, movement has increased but demand for hay
all over Oregon is slow to moderate.
Most sales being made are in large contracts.
Some parts of Oregon are seeing drought and they are seeing ranchers
start to buy hay to get ready to feed when the drought gets worse.
Some producers are saying they are waiting to sell until prices get settled
but others are saying they aren't getting any offers and movement
has been slow.
According to the U.S.
Drought Monitor, there is abnormally dry to severe dry soil conditions
all over Oregon.
According to the National Weather Service website, Precipitation has
been far lower than normal for this time of year and temperatures have
been a little higher than normal.
