Compared to the last report, hay movement has slowed to a standstill.
We have continued to receive some rain.
Parts of Oklahoma have received just enough moisture to have their first
or second cutting.
Several hay fields were not able to produce as they should this year.
Hay crop for some will be short, while others are flourishing this year.
A lot of hay crop producers are still trying to navigate this hay season.
Drought in Oklahoma has decreased to 64.30 percent, with the state having
some form of drought.
The Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor indicates
that 1.55 percent of the state is experiencing exceptional drought,
15.54 percent is in extreme drought, 35.01 percent is in severe
drought, 43.37 percent is in moderate drought, 64.30 percent is in abnormally
dry conditions, and 35.70 percent has no drought conditions.
