After the new year, movement has picked up; it's slow to steady.
I would not say it is a turning point for hay growers just yet.
Cold weather is beginning to move in.
Still do not see any moisture in the near future.
Drought worsens; 82 percent of the state has some form of drought.

the state is experiencing exceptional drought, 7.44 percent is in extreme
drought, 19.94 percent is in severe drought, 71.31 percent is in moderate
drought, 82.14 percent is in abnormally dry conditions, and 17.86
percent has no drought conditions.
