SLAUGHTER CATTLE 100 180 213
Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to spots 10.00 higher on
those over 600 lb's with the 700-750 lb cattle seeing the full advance. A heavy
supply of quality calves and a few loads of yearling heifers found good to very
good demand with some top end consignments offered. Cattle futures have been
volatile lately but ended Wednesday in the green. Slaughter cows sold
5.00-10.00 higher.
