Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers and heifers sold 10.00-25.00
higher. Demand was good for a moderate supply that included several loads of
yearlings and consignments of fancy calves. Buyers were ready to get back to
work acquiring some cattle and it made for a snappy sale. Cattle futures were
lower for the first time in several trading sessions. Slaughter cows sold
mostly steady.
