Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. 
Steer and heifers calves under 700 lbs. were steady to 6.00 higher in a light 
test of the market. Demand was moderate on a light supply. The largest draft of 
the day was 65 head of 928 lb. colored-up steers which sold for 300.00/cwt. The 
cash market established some footing, following the Labor Day holiday, as CME 
Future Contracts traded higher.  Buyers were more aggressive on Tuesday but 
continued to discount calves lacking a pre-conditioning program.
