Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Demand was
moderate on slaughter animals and good on replacement cattle. There was a
moderate supply of slaughter animals and a heavy supply of bred cows and pairs.
The top slaughter bull sold for 224.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for
175.00/cwt. Replacement cattle outnumbered slaughter animals with the top pairs
bringing 3800.00/pair and the top bred cows bringing 3300.00/head.
