Compared to last week, feeder cattle supply was moderate, with offerings
consisting largely of plainer-quality cattle. Demand was lighter, particularly
for calves carrying excess flesh and heavier hair coats as summer conditions
approach. Feeder steers sold $5.00 to $10.00 lower, while feeder heifers sold
steady to $5.00 lower. Slaughter cattle sold $5.00 to $10.00 lower.
