"Compared to last week, total receipts were higher, with several offerings of
weaned calves. Feeder steers sold steady to $2.00 higher. Demand for heifers
and bulls was uneven. Lightweight heifers weighing 300-500 lbs sold $5.00
lower, while 500-700 lb heifers sold $10.00 higher. Feeder bulls weighing
300-500 lbs sold $15.00 lower, while 500-600 lb bulls sold steady to $2.00
higher. On a strong test, slaughter cattle sold $5.00 higher."
