Compared to last week, on a moderate supply of feeders, overall demand remained
strong, with feeder steers and heifers selling steady to $8.00 higher. There
were several standout drafts of 7-weight heifers marked fancy that sold on
strong demand. Offerings of replacement cattle this week were mostly in
thin-flesh condition. On a strong test, slaughter cattle sold mostly steady.
