Compared to last week, feeder steers traded unevenly on a mixed offering of
both weaned and unweaned calves. Prices ranged from $10.00 lower to $13.00
higher, reflecting variable demand and quality across the offering. Feeder
heifers saw a slightly stronger demand, trading $10.00 to $20.00 higher. Buyers
showed increased interest in heavier and well-conditioned lots. Slaughter
cattle continued to strengthen, selling $5.00 to $10.00 higher, supported by
solid packer interest and tightening supply.
