Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers under 600 lbs 10.00-20.00
higher on a limited test. Weights over 600 lbs were not well tested. Slaughter
cows steady. Demand very good. Smaller feeder offering but with several medium
sized consignments of good to very good quality calves. The feeder trade is
getting even more fuel added to it with feeder futures contracts sharply higher
so far this week.
