Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers steady to 4.00 higher with advance
over 600 lbs. Feeder heifers 2.00-7.00 higher. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00
higher. Demand good. Supply moderate. The feeder market is still red hot
following the holiday with another round of record fed cattle sales last week
helping to fuel the fire. Lots of smaller consignments this week with several
of the better quality cattle weighing over 650 lbs and carrying some flesh.
