Compared to the last trended sale three weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers
10.00-30.00 higher except heifers under 500 lbs fully 30.00-50.00 higher.
Slaughter cows 6.00-8.00 higher. Demand very good. Supply moderate. The feeder
market remains a very fast track with more record prices seen. Maybe the
highlight of the day came on a load of reputation black steers weighing 773 lbs
@ 388.25 The cow sale included a small consignment of third period bred heifers
on the low end of medium flesh that also drew considerable interest.
