Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers steady to firm. Feeder heifers under
550 lbs 5.00-10.00 lower, over 550 lbs steady. Slaughter cows steady. Demand
good. Supply light. Futures action was higher Tuesday but disappointing with
feeder contracts making a modest rebound following Friday's sell-off. A special
cow sale followed the feeders with several nice bred heifers and cows finding
strong demand.
