Demand for nonfat dry milk (NDM) remains robust while availability is limited. 
Manufacturers continue production at a steady pace to fulfill contracts. Milk 
volumes continue to meet processors' needs, though heat in the Southwest is 
being monitored for potential impacts on output. The Northwest expects to have 
spot low heat NDM available in November. Demand for high heat NDM is increasing 
as the holiday baking season approaches. Export purchases at premium values 
continue to add pressure to an already tight market, supporting the upward 
trajectory of prices as demand outweighs production. Both the top and bottom of 
the low heat and high heat NDM price ranges increased this week, along with the 
mostly series.
