Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on December 04, 2025

Dry whey prices are higher at the bottom ends of the range and mostly price
series in the West. The top ends of the range and mostly price series are
unchanged. Demand from domestic and international buyers is steady. Spot load
availability continues to be tight for the most part. Some West region buyers
are securing loads from outside the region due to spot load unavailability or
backed up orders from manufacturers in the region. Cheese manufacturers are
back in gear with all aspects of the cheese production process this
post-holiday week, which is providing stronger liquid whey volumes for drying.
Dry whey production schedules vary from steady to stronger.
