Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on October 16, 2025

Prices for dry whey moved 1 cent higher at both ends of the range and mostly
price series in the West. Domestic demand varies from light to steady. Export
demand is lighter. Stakeholders convey European Union dry whey market prices
are more attractive to buyers than market prices for US produced dry whey
loads. Dry whey production schedules are steady, but not robust, with whey
protein concentrates and isolates production schedules pulling in a healthy
share of the liquid whey available for processing. Dry whey stocks are on the
tight end for spot buyers in the West.
