Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on January 15, 2026

Dry whey prices decreased this week, except for the top end of the range.
Domestic demand is steady. Demand from international buyers varies from lighter
to steady. Stakeholders convey domestic prices are somewhat higher than
international prices. Sweet whey production schedules are mixed. Whey protein
concentrates and isolates continue to have strong demand and market strength,
which is drawing a healthy share of liquid whey volumes into production. Spot
loads vary from somewhat more available to tight.
