Dry Buttermilk - West U.S.

Released on July 09, 2026

In the West, dry buttermilk prices moved lower at both ends of the range and
mostly price series. Domestic demand varies from steady to lighter. Demand from
international buyers is steady. Cream production continues to push downtime for
butter churns down the road, making plenty of liquid buttermilk for drying. Dry
buttermilk production is steady, but not robust, as open dryer time is tight
for some processors. Manufacturers report their spot load availability
generally remains tight.
