Dry Buttermilk - West U.S.

Released on June 20, 2025

In the West, dry buttermilk prices moved higher for both ends of the range and
the bottom end of the mostly price series. The top of the mostly price series
is unchanged. Demand from domestic and international buyers is steady for the
most part. A few manufacturers convey their spot load availability is extremely
tight for the majority of Q3. Stakeholders indicate spot load availability is
tighter. Butter production is creating ample amounts of liquid buttermilk for
dry buttermilk manufacturing. Dry buttermilk production schedules are lighter
for some manufacturers, but contractual needs are being met.
