Dry buttermilk prices moved higher in the bottom end of the range in the West. 
The top end of the range and both ends of the mostly price series are 
unchanged. Demand is steady from domestic and international buyers. 
Manufacturer availability of spot loads is extremely tight in some cases. 
Traders indicate mixed spot load availability. That said, stakeholders convey 
contractual and spot load needs are generally being met. Butter production 
continues to be active and provide liquid buttermilk for drying. However, milk 
production and cream volumes are lightening, in turn, lightening dry buttermilk 
production.
