Dry buttermilk prices are unchanged in the West. Demand from domestic and 
international buyers is steady. Plenty of liquid buttermilk is available for 
drying with butter churns running heavily. Dry buttermilk production schedules 
are steady. Milk volumes for Class IV manufacturers are strong in the first 
weeks of 2026.  A few manufacturers indicate a lack of available drier time for 
producing dry buttermilk and cannot cover all of their liquid buttermilk 
volumes. Manufacturers note snug dry buttermilk spot load availability. Traders 
convey dry buttermilk loads can be found, but availability is not robust.
