Butter - West U.S.

Released on November 26, 2025

Spot cream load availability is adequately fulfilling demands, although some
manufacturers report milk volumes are tighter. Some butter manufacturers are
taking in spot cream loads, while others are sticking to contractual cream
volume intakes. Cream multiples for week 48 are below the bottom end and above
the top end of the All-Classes range from week 47. Butter manufacturers note
steady or strong production schedules and minimal downtime for the holiday
week. Some butter producers in the region continue to focus their bulk butter
production on loads for international sales. Domestic demand varies from
lighter to somewhat stronger. Export demand varies from steady to strong. The
CME closing butter price for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, is $1.45, down 1
cent from the start of the week.
