AMS_1091 MARS Butter - West U.S. Released on April 22, 2026 Spring milk and cream outputs are sufficiently accommodating butter producing facilities in the West. Spot cream loads are available in the region, but butter manufacturers are not adding many to their contractual intakes due to the current high prices for spot cream loads. Contractual cream intakes are generally keeping butter churns active seven days a week. Domestic butter demand varies from steady to lighter. Demand from international buyers is steady. Both 80 and 82 percent butterfat butter loads are available. Prices for US produced butter loads continue to hold export buyer interest, which is keeping domestic bulk butter spot load availability somewhat tight. Prices for: West, All First Sales, F.O.B., Grade AA, Edible Butter Basis Pricing - 80% Butterfat: 0-0.04 Information for the period April 20 - 24, 2026, issued weekly [0600059B]
