reporting period. Spot loads of SMP in Europe are priced competitively with 
loads produced in other regions. Demand is steady in Europe, but purchasers are 
primarily securing loads to meet their immediate needs, rather than taking 
extended positions. Interest from purchasers in other regions is strong, though 
some contacts say international conflict and increasing freight costs are 
making it difficult to move loads to some countries. Production is steady and 
spot loads are available to meet current market demands.
