Butter/Butteroil - Europe

Released on April 23, 2026

Butter prices moved lower at both ends of the range this week as strong milk
production continues to weigh on values. Ample milk volumes through the spring
flush have increased cream availability, adding pressure to butter markets
alongside softer domestic demand. Trading activity remained controlled, with
buyers focused on managing coverage rather than extending positions. Butteroil
prices moved higher at both ends of the range, supported by steadier demand and
improved interest. Market tone remains mixed, with butter under pressure while
butteroil shows firmer direction.
