Whole milk powder (WMP) markets in South America remain well supplied. Contacts 
report that a significant volume of August production is still unsold, keeping 
offerings readily available for buyers. Demand from Algeria continues to show 
very limited activity, while interest from Brazil remains present but is 
following the softer tone in international markets. Recent transactions for 
prompt shipment into Brazil were reported at the lower end of our earlier 
range, prompting a revision to the bottom of the reported price band. Market 
participants describe conditions as steady to weaker, and contacts anticipate 
additional downward pressure in the near term.

Brazil's year-over-year WMP imports increased 16.7% during the January-June 
2026 period.
