Skim milk powder (SMP) markets are steady to firmer, following international 
price trends. Argentine SMP production fell by 2.5 percent from January to July 
compared to the previous year. July stocks were 4.8 percent lower than 2025 
levels. Chilean SMP imports declined 13.3 percent January-July, though the 
country remains a net importer of SMP. Brazilian year-over-year SMP imports 
remain steady, in line with domestic consumption. Inquiries for SMP are coming 
from African and North African buyers that traditionally source from European 
origins.
