Skim milk powder (SMP) prices increased at the bottom of the range and are 
unchanged at the top of the range. SMP production in South America is mixed. 
Data from CLAL.it shows production is down for Argentina and up for Brazil. 
Imports of SMP for Brazil are also up. Stakeholders indicate spot load 
availability is tighter and there are fewer offers from sellers. Demand is 
steady, which is keeping some tension on inventories. Industry sources report 
health concerns linked to sheep in Argentina is putting a hold on their dairy 
exports.
