Whole Milk Powder - Oceania

Released on May 22, 2025

The Oceania whole milk powder (WMP) price range tightened during the most
recent reporting period, increasing at the low end of the range and decreasing
at the high end. Domestic demand is steady to stronger as WMP production
declines due to seasonally decreasing milk output, with some farmers electing
to dry cows off early because of drought conditions. Export demand is lighter
as prices weakened at GDT event 380, where the average price for all contract
periods declined slightly to $4,332 and the price index fell by 1.0 percent.
However, tight inventories are keeping prices elevated; volumes of WMP traded
at GDT event 380 were about the same as at the prior event, but significantly
lower than the same time last year.

Prices for: Oceania, All First Sales, Free on Board - Port, Edible Whole Milk
Powder
