AMS_1099 MARS Butter - Oceania Released on September 10, 2026 Butter prices decreased across the full range this reporting period. Processor prices also moved lower compared to last month and are down 28 percent year-over-year (YoY). Last week butter futures strengthened for September, weakened for October through December, and held steady for January and February. July butter exports for New Zealand were up 7 percent YoY and 14 percent year-to-date, due to stronger volumes shipped to China, North America, and Oceania.At Global Dairy Trade (GDT) Event 411, butter prices were mostly lower as October was up slightly but all remaining contract periods were down as much as 2.7 percent. No butter was offered for February or March. November and December accounted for 72 percent of total sales. Butter volume sold increased compared to Event 410 but was lower than a year ago. North Asia led purchasing with 69 percent, followed by Europe and Southeast Asia/Oceania.
