Butter - East U.S.

Released on October 29, 2025

The butter market in the East region is seasonally strong. Plants are operating
seven days a week, running fresh cream and microfixing. Overall, demand is good
for retail and food service size packaging. Contacts say the low butter prices
are helping demand, especially on the food service side. Cream contract loads
are sufficient to keep up with butter demand. Spot loads of cream for churns
were not reported this week. International demand is holding steady. Inventory
levels of bulk and retail butter are increasing. The weekly cold storage report
indicates an increase in butter stocks this week.

Beginning November 1, 2025, this report will be published at 1:30 PM EST/12:30
