Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on October 30, 2025

Low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) prices increased across the range and
mostly price series this week. Domestic demand is steady, while export interest
remains light. Inventories are tight in the Central region and recently
tightened in the East, contributing to slightly higher prices. Meanwhile,
contacts report spot loads are more available in the West and are trading at
lower prices. Some spot purchasers say they are securing loads from the West to
meet their short-term needs. Milk is available for drying and some
manufacturers say they are shifting some additional volume to drying
operations, due to downtime at other plants. Plant managers are focusing
schedules on low/medium heat NDM and limiting high heat production. Demand for
high heat NDM is steady, but contacts say trading is light and inventories
remain tight. High heat NDM prices are unchanged across the range.
