Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on May 28, 2026

Low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) prices decreased across the range and
mostly price series in the Central and East regions this week. On the CME,
daily spot prices for NDM fell from $2.27 at the start of last week, to
$2.0850, as of report publication. Contacts say inventories are still somewhat
snug, but they are growing and loads of NDM are available in the West region.
Demand for low/medium heat NDM remains soft, as some domestic spot purchasers
are only ordering loads to meet their immediate needs. Export demand is
softening as contacts say purchasers in Mexico are buying fewer loads.
Low/medium heat NDM production is strong, and plant managers say they are
running busy schedules this week. High heat NDM prices also decreased this
week, following low/medium heat. Despite lower prices, contacts say inventories
remain tight and demand is unchanged.
