Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on April 02, 2026

Low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) prices increased in the Central and East
regions across the range and mostly price series this week. Markets remain
bullish as inventories remain tight. Spot purchasers say loads are difficult to
find, and some are securing loads from the West region to meet their immediate
needs. Domestic demand is steady. Contacts report strong demand from Mexico,
but high prices have reduced interest from purchasers in other countries. Milk
output is increasing and plant managers are running busy schedules, but
production is down year-over-year, due to strong demand for condensed skim milk
from other dairy processors. Prices for high heat NDM are trending higher this
week. Demand is steady to stronger and inventories remain tight. Production is
limited as drying times remain focused on low/medium heat.
