Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on March 05, 2026

The price range and mostly price series for low/medium heat nonfat dry milk
(NDM) both shifted higher in the Central and East regions this week. Domestic
demand has softened somewhat in recent weeks, as some purchasers say they are
only searching for loads to meet their immediate needs due to current prices.
Export demand is softening, but some contacts report steady interest from
purchasers in Mexico. Inventories are tight and contacts say this has continued
to push prices higher this week. Plant managers say they are running busier
drying schedules as they try to replenish their inventories. Prices for high
heat NDM pushed higher again this week. Production remains limited, as
production schedules remain focused on low/medium heat. Demand for high heat
NDM is steady, and inventories remain tight.
