Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on January 08, 2026

In the Central region, prices for low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) are
increasing at the top of the range and across the mostly price series this
week. Demand is picking up following the end of year holidays. Stakeholders say
interest from purchasers in Mexico is strong. Spot inventories are tight across
the country, and some contacts report difficulty finding loads to meet export
demands. Drying operations are running busy production schedules, as they work
through available supplies of condensed skim milk. High heat NDM production
remains limited as plant managers remain focused on low/medium heat. The high
heat NDM spot market is somewhat quiet this week, as demand remains light and
inventories are tight. Prices for high heat NDM are unchanged in the Central
region.
