Dry whey and whey derivatives are the talk of the town for many contacts. The 
sentiment for whey is strong. Demand remains strong and the spot market demand 
for Extra Grade and Grade A dry whey is strong. Due to the increased demand for 
high protein whey derivatives, production of Extra Grade and Grade A whey is 
limited. Whey inventories are tight with limited availability of whey on the 
spot market. Prices for dry whey rose at the top of the range but remained the 
same at the bottom of the range. Export activity for whey remains strong.
