Dry Whey - East U.S.

Demand continues to be strong for dry whey and whey derivatives on both the 
domestic and international markets. Whey's strong demand is reflected in the 
current higher CME price, and subsequently, sales prices of Extra Grade and 
Grade A dry whey. The price range rose at both ends this week. Spot sales of 
whey are limited in the East. Outside of contract sales, there is very little 
inventory of whey available for spot sales.
