Dry Whey - East U.S.

Released on October 30, 2025

Dry whey and whey derivative production in the East region remains strong.
Contacts indicate a healthy market with plenty of demand to meet, and in some
cases, exceed production. Extra Grade and Grade A whey producers are working on
Q1 contracts but still have some spot loads available. The price for Extra
Grade increased at the bottom of the range this week, with most pricing at or
above current NDPSR prices. CME spot prices continue to rise for Extra Grade as
well, closing at $0.70 on October 29th. Inventory levels of whey and its
derivatives remain tight. Export demand continues to be strong.

Beginning November 1, 2025, this report will be published at 2:30 PM EST/1:30
