The dry whey market was very quiet this week. There were very few reported 
sales for dry whey. The price range for dry whey tightened by one cent on both 
sides of the range. Contacts report the demand for dry whey is low, with most 
customers preferring whey proteins. Cheese makers in the Northeast had a slight 
drop in production. There is no expectation that whey availability will be 
affected by the drop.
