Acid casein prices remained steady this week. In Oceania, spot demand for acid 
casein is steady but contacts report lighter interest from purchasers in other 
markets. Contract purchasers continue to pull on acid casein inventories, but 
spot purchasers say loads are available to meet their needs. Milk production is 
strong in Oceania, enabling plant managers to run busy acid casein production 
schedules. 

Prices for rennet casein are unchanged. Contacts in Europe report steady to 
lighter spot interest from purchasers within Europe and in other regions. 
Manufacturers say rennet casein is well contracted in Q1, and they anticipate 
prices to remain firm at the start of 2026. Rennet casein production is steady, 
and spot loads are available.
