Acid casein prices are unchanged this week. Contacts in Oceania say most of the 
demand for acid casein is for quarterly contracts, while spot interest is 
seasonally light. Spot loads of acid casein are available, but inventories are 
not excessive. Acid casein production is light, and plant managers in Oceania 
say they are primarily focusing on meeting contractual obligations.

The price range for rennet casein also held steady this week. In Europe, 
contacts say demand for rennet casein is steady to lighter, but interest from 
purchasers in other regions is unchanged. Declining seasonal milk output is 
contributing to lighter rennet casein production. Spot inventories are tight.
