Acid casein prices moved lower this week as lower quarterly contract prices for 
Q3 were incorporated into the range. Spot prices for acid casein also moved 
lower at the top of the range amid light spot market activity. Milk output 
remains seasonally light in Oceania, limiting acid casein production. Acid 
casein inventories are tight, as the majority of production in the region is 
focused on meeting contractual obligations. Both ends of the rennet casein 
price range moved lower this week. Contacts report rennet casein production is 
declining in Europe. Spot purchasers say loads of rennet casein are available. 
Demand for rennet casein is steady to lighter.
