Acid casein prices increased this week, while the price range for rennet casein 
held steady. In New Zealand, it is the end of the milk production season and 
there is little milk available for processing, this is limiting acid casein 
production. Demand for acid casein is light in Oceania, but international 
interest is steady. Spot acid casein inventories are tight. In Europe, rennet 
casein production is steady. Contacts report demand for rennet casein is 
unchanged from last week. Spot loads of rennet casein are available to meet 
current market demand, but stakeholders say inventories are not excessive.
