The price range for acid casein is unchanged this week. In Oceania, contacts 
say contract demand for Q2 is strong. Demand for acid casein is steady in the 
region, and interest from purchasers in other regions is strengthening. Spot 
loads are available to meet current market demands. Plant managers are running 
steady production schedules.

Prices for rennet casein also held steady this week. Contract demand is strong 
for Q2, and spot demand is strengthening within the region. International 
conflicts and increasing transportation costs are negatively impacting spot 
market demand from purchasers in other regions. Milk output is increasing in 
Europe and plant managers say rennet casein production is increasing. 
Inventories are available to meet current market demands.
