The price range for acid casein is unchanged, and contacts say demand and 
inventories are well balanced. Contract purchasers are steadily securing spot 
loads and spot demand is unchanged. Milk is available in Oceania and plant 
managers say they are using supplies to run steady production schedules. Spot 
loads are available, but inventories are not excessive.

Prices for rennet casein are also unchanged this week. In Europe, contacts 
report steady demand. Spot inventories are snug and purchasers say they 
occasionally have to search for loads to meet their immediate needs. Milk is 
available in Europe and contacts say rennet casein production is steady. 
Production is primarily focused on meeting contractual obligations.
