Fluid Milk And Cream - East U.S.

Released on October 29, 2025

Milk production continues to be strong in the Northeast. Cooler temperatures
are contributing to increased farm output. In the Southeast, milk production
remains steady and Class I bottling demand is increasing. Contacts indicate
demand is higher this year than last. Class II production remains strong.
Seasonal products, such as eggnog and flavored creams, are in full production
and pulling from available milk and cream supplies. Class III production is
strong. Contacts indicate a better-than-expected demand from both retail
products and further cheese processors buying bulk cheese. Spot loads of milk
are available for cheese production, but contacts note spot demand is light.
Class IV production is seasonally strong. Butter churns are operating seven
days a week. There is very little spot cream available for churns. Cream
multiples did not change this week, with prices leveling out. Condensed skim
production is steady. Producers mention some condensed skim buyers are looking
to lock in contracts for at least the first half of 2026. Condensed skim is
selling on the spot market from flat to $0.15 over Class price. Beginning
November 1, 2025, this report will be published on Thursday's at 1:30 PM
