Dry Buttermilk - East and Central U.S.

Released on October 02, 2025

Butter production is increasing due to seasonal demand. Some contacts also
report lowering ice cream demand, providing a larger amount of buttermilk
available for drying. Buttermilk powder (BMP) sales were quiet in the East but
more active in the Central region. BMP pricing dropped at the bottom of the
range and remained the same at the top. Increasing supplies will make BMP
readily available for spot sales. Demand is currently light but expected to
increase as the holiday season approaches.

Beginning November 1, 2025, this report will be published at 2:30 PM EST/1:30
